I'm looking to work for T-Mobile. If someone sells 30-35 phones a month, what would be the average commission?

Thanks!

Depends on your market and quota. If I sold 35 in my market (A Tier IV market - my quota is normally 25), after factoring in deacts, upgrades, and service scores, I'm looking probably around Gross 1400...net, maybe 9

nice combination.
T-Mobile pays better than us cellular, and if your planning on selling 35 phones a month then stay ay us cellular.
My quota is 47 and if i sell 60-65 phones i have about $3200 befor taxes.

Last year I did pretty good, cleared 82,500. It was a lot of work and travel, but worth it.

Working for T-Mobile I make an hourly rate of $9.53/hour.

As far as commision is concerned as a full time rep my quota is aroun 50 phones a month. If I sold 35 my commision would suffer greatly.

It's a very detailed commision system that really hurts you if you don't make quota but REALLY rewards you if you go over quota.

I have had months around $3500 before taxes in commision alone.

That was a relatively big month, but commision normally will more than double my hourly pay.

You just have to understand the system and know what is expected of you to really know what you will make in commision.

I don't want to sound like a jerk but I get more an hour than you and my quota is lower. Now of course we can barely come close at all to getting quota so that makes a big difference in payout. If we had the towers, on the other hand, it wouldn't be so bad.

Yeah T-Mobile pay is really awesome not to mention our benefits. Full health insurance, 401k, partnered discounts, they are paying for children's day care, a lot more too. Hourly plus commission is nice. Also my commission checks average 4000 gross. So I don't know why you would have that small of a commission check. If you do have that small of a commission check you can't sell lol.

If you have that small of a commission check it depends on where you live. You can sell a lot more phones in california then you can in west michigan.
