i have a brand new slvr from cingular and i cant unlock it for T-Mobile. Please help me.

Cingular will not unlock their phones, but that is the first place you should try. If they don't, there are numerous web sites that will do that for you for $$. Try google it.

if you bought it at retail price and have a receipt, call cingular and you can get the unlock code.
