Are There Any T-Mobile Reps. In This Room (Like Someone Knowledgeable?)

Okay so here’s the thing…

So I’m buying a SideKick 2 PrePaid kit from Wal Mart.com (It’s cheaper than from T-Mobile) So I’m on a post pay plan. What I would like to do is just take my SIM card and put it in the SideKick 2. Can I do this? Also, how can I change add the SideKick unlimited data plan on? I’m not the primary account holder so I doubt I could call…I can make any changes online, MyT-Mobile.com though. Anyone can help me out?

Thanks

Yes you can do that. Just take your sim out of your current phone and put it in the SK. Whoever is the account holder would have to add the SK unlimited to the plan.

yes you can move the sim card into the prepaid phone and it will work. You can call in to make changes but you will need the acct holders last 4 of ssn # (or password if they have it)

The only stipulation is if the account holder has a smart access account or not. If they have smart access then they can not add SK internet until they can be taken off. They can be removed from smart access after 1 year of active service.

If they are on smart access you can not have the internet. You can still make/receive calls & text message but thats it. You can't even download. Hope this answers your question 🙂

OKay. I see...thanks for the help...And the account in not Smart Acess or what ever. I'm positive it's not.

Um, so you won't be able to change add the SK2 unlimited data plan through MyT-Mobile.com???
Thanks

if you are on a regular account & not smart access you can add the SK internet through mytmobile. It will list is as an available feature that you can add. Be sure that the SKII is listed as being your phone (found in the upper right hand corner of mytmobile).
