Would the x945 work in England?
first of all, its the x495 not the 945...
it has the following bands:
GSM 850
GSM 1800
GSM 1900
you can only use the above bands, so whether or not you will be able to use the phone in the UK will depend on which network you pick up.
you will be able to roam in the UK on Orange UK or T-Mobile UK networks (1900 band)
you wont be able to roam in the UK on o2 UK (BT Cellnet) or Vodafone UK networks (900 band)

Sorry, there are no 1900 networks no 1900 networks anywhere in Europe.

Sorry, you will not find any 1900 networks outside of the Americas. Europe is 900 and 1800 only.
