Dealing With The Wireless Industry. Pt. I

🙂 This is something new I wanted to start doing that will help me make more sense of this wireless industry. Feel free to give any "good, worthwhile" comments to this post.

Topic of today is the US and why it doesn't get the same great phones that get released in Europe.

I know this has been discussed several times (well mostly just argued) but it makes me 😕 wonder with all the freedoms and perks we Americans have in this country why cant we get some of these great phones without having to order from a third party dealer or from the internet.(Shout Out to Ebay 😉 ) It makes no sense that the World's Most Powerful Country is behind the times on one of the fastest growing consumer products that almost every one uses.

Thats a good point but for a country that takes so much pride in everything that it has or does settling for less is generally not a American standard. I agree with the fact the manufacturers will produce more where the largest market is but with the steadily growing cell phone business in the states, it would seem crazy not to give Americans a taste of what European markets have enjoyed for years. We get the leftovers and unfortunaly too many are satisfied with that. â˜šī¸

My opinion is that Europe and Asia don't have a monitor like the FCC to deal with. How can we keep up when we have everything so regulated that by the time it gets approved its almost an obsolete technology.

Relatively speaking the North American market is tiny compared to the rest of the world. Them's the facts Jack!

How sad well eventhough it looks like none of this will ever change. I can always take pride in knowing no matter how many people I see or sell the RAZR too, my phone is still better RF wise and feature wise. The little peace I get from all of it.
