well I was told when I bought the samsung t809 and mda at the same time in april ( spent over $500 for both ) that they were good phones. I had to sell the samsung t809 there was so much dust under the screen I could not see it even in a dark room and the ringtone issue and the phone was so flimsy it would flex in my hand with almost no pressure and the mda is a pos. It gets terrible signal and the internet takes 30 minutes even to load a simple page like google and I have been thru mda support level 2 and spoken to many supervisors and all they can advise me is to buy another mda at full price and another samsung t809 for full price and I refuse to do this.

So, a sales guy gave you his opinion about a phone. And it turns out you dont agree with it. And they should let you out of your contract for lying to you? Am I missing something?

They said the internet was fast, I do not consider 30 minutes per page fast. They said the samsung t809 was a good high end phone and I have owned $20 phones that were better.

Well, granted I am not familiar with T Mobile, does their data speed work faster in different areas then in others?

As far as your opinion of the quality of the phones goes that is debatable, while I am not arguing with you that it may or may not be good for you, I can gurantee that there are some people out there that would argue that it is a great phone and probably their favorite of all time. Everybody has their own opinion on things, so you cant really say that the salesman lied to you, he might actually think it is a great phone, who knows. Either way good luck in getting it resolved, hope it works out for you.

1. You have thirty days to keep or return your phones and cancel your contract. After that, unless you have a 200 dollars per phone to give to them then you are stuck in their agreement.

2. The sales person who sold you the phone has nothing to do with your service, he just sold you, period. if you had issues with being over billed and things of that elk, then you might have a chance, but since you just complaing about the phones you can forget about it.

3.If you aren't getting coverage in a location where they don't get coverage, then you still are ****ed because they offer coverage maps to show you how their coverage works in areas.

At the end of the day, if you don't like the phones you chose then use your one year warranty to ...

Er - 30 days return period is only in California - all other states have 14 days.

Sorry you had problems with your phones and service.

But, when you signed the contract you had 14 days to try out the service and the phone. If you had any problems with the internet speeds within that time frame you should have let someone know or simply just canceled.

Also there is a strong possibility you had a defective t809 and MDA. Each phone comes with a 1-year warranty and if the problem isn't anything T-Mobile can fix, they will send you a new phone.

But from what your reason is for wanting to cancel, you will not be exempt from the cancellation fees.

So because you somehow managed to get dust under the screen it is now the sales rep's fault? im pretty sure when he sold you the phone there was nothing under there.

what is the ringtone issue your having? once again this would not be the sales rep's fault..so i dont really see how he lied to you about anything.

well after my 15 days they said it was a known issue of course...and I paid $300 for a phone that loads internet pages slower than a nokia 6010. Of course you tmobile cronies think their is nothing wrong with this.

If your handsets are that bad, maybe they're defective. You have a warranty. Use it.

Dust under the screen is a known issue and Manuf warranty will cover that. Rep was not giving you false info : t809 is a high end phone mp3 player 1.3 meg camera and etc. it flexes ...wtf Did u check the phone before u got it? Not T-Mobiles Fault. MDA ( I own that phone gets really good rf. Almost all the people that I work with have that phone ),I would take it to the corp store and do some testing there. your phone might just be defective.

The dust beneath the screen is a known issue with RAZRs (poor assembly) and it was covered and replaced under my warranty. No T-Mobile customer service agent should be telling you to buy a new phone outright. Hang up and dial again (sometimes you get someone new or that doesn't feel like working that day). The MDA really does work quicker than you're experciening. Make sure that you close out any unneccassary programs that are running though.
