No More Porn
On November 12, T-Mobile will launch Content Control, an add-on feature that filters GPRS and EDGE Internet access on our network to adult-themed (over eighteen) WAP and HTML Web sites on a handset.
Content Control is based on an initiative led by the Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association (CTIA) and restricts unauthorized access to adult-themed material by minors on their phone/device, without the consent of the primary account holder. This functionality is required to meet CTIA standards for limiting access by underage customers to objectionable content.

so if you're over 18, then it's still do-able? i don't look at porn, never even thought of it! wow!

Its the main account holder and any authorized users who can add it on, its just a free feature (not for Blackberry on the initial launch). So if you're over 18 and the account is under your name, you can still get your freak on 😉

yep. you have to specifically request that you want to block adult content on a certain line. so, you don't have to call cutomer service and say "yes, I'd like to look at porn please"

I take it back partly, starting today if you activate PrePay Sidekick service at an indirect dealer not only do you have to go to a store and say "I want porn please" in person, but you have to show them your ID to get the content control removed LOL
