Nokia 3660 question

I just got my 3660 on Monday and had to send it back Tuesday for a replacement because the one they sent me has a couple of defects.

1. Whenever you try to open t-zones, the browser closes itself and displays a message saying "App. closed browser"

2. For some reason, the phone wasn't properly reading the sim card.

The tech support guys at t-mobile told me that it is some kind of defect in the phone and to send it back for another one.

I think that this is just an isolated incident because my friend has a 3650 and this never happened, even to his replacement (he dropped it off of his balcony and it cracked and bounced into the pool).

Anyone else had any problems like this?

I'm sure that you just got a defective unit. Those are great phones, and I'm sure you won't have any problems once you get a good one.

It's taking a while to get my replacement. I was talking to a guy today who has a nokia 6600 and I thought that it was pretty cool.

I was wondering if anyone has any input about this phone.

I was thinking about having the company I ordered through get me a 6600 instead of a 3660 as a replacement, I would just pay the difference.

Is the 6600 really worth it? Is it that much better that the 3660 to justify the $100 I'd have to put out to get that phone?

Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated. 😁

You will be happy with the 3660 with its new brighter screen and 65k colors, otherwise no different than 3650. 6600 is just a different shell.
