Europe and Asia get better cell phones
Okay so I saw Casino Royale, and I have one bad thing to say about it…WHY DOES THE REST OF THE WORLD GET TEN TIMES BETTER CELL PHONES! This truly blows. Why do we get the short end of the stick on cell phones? And I know what you are saying; those are probably cell phones that are fixing to come out in Europe. And yet, THEY ARE STILL BETTER REGARDLESS. I truly hate American cell phones; they are butchered and toned down, just and ungodly sight. I guess the best thing to do is to go across the pond and get an unlocked phone because these phone suck, it’s like all the phones the American carriers have are like the Zach Morris phone to the European and Asian markets, its ridiculous. WHY OH WHY DO WE HAVE TO SUFFER LIKE THIS?

No my life doesn't revolve around phones I just like technology and it was just hard to look at the really cool cell phones they had on Casino Royale, when I looked down at my piece of crap. I am going to try and find an unlocked phone. And yes I know life isn't fair, that is why my post wasn't all that serious.

At least with a GSM carrier you can get unlocked phones, so thats a plus. I think another reason the US is slow to get new phones is the very low penetration rate for cellular service. Currently only about 45% of americans own cell phones; compare this to Germany which has a 100% penetration rate or Chech Republic which is 110% (meaning a lot of people have more than 1 cell phone)
Oddly, most of my frinds in Europe don't even own cool cell phones!
Two frends still have Nokia 3220's and another was using an ancient flip phone with a monochrome screen untill I sent him an extra Audiovox PPC4100 that I had lying around.

i dont see whats wrong with just making quadband phones for the whole global market, even tho we are a smaller market, i guess its cheaper to make dual band phones than quad and tribands.
