i dont even know if any gsm carrier here will get it anytime soon, they made sure verizon and sprint got em first 👿 , which made me mad, and on top of it the k1 has a mp3 player but it doesnt have the 3 buttons for that function on top of it, what makes motorola think that the gsm version dont need a play/pause, forward and reverse button on the front. dont bother w/ motorola's phones

look at it in a positive way. The K1 will have a 2MP camera. The K1m has a 1.2MP camera

😁 i guess there is a silver lining but u have to admit motorola was stupid for not putting those buttons on the front of the phone, who wants to use a mp3 player w/ the phone open, but the 2mp camera is a great deal.

Cingular is getting sometime this year, and T-Mobile is picking it up sometime early next year, according to my T-Mo rep AND 2 Motorola reps.

Anything you would win from Motorola would be "unlocked" so it can work with any providor. Go to the website www.motorola.com. If you buy direct from them the phone is unlocked. Works as CDMA and GSM, but I would imagine if the phone were made specifically for CDMA (first phone laucnched was CDMA), then it would effect the way it works as a GSM phone on T-Mo network. 🙄

Probably not. I won the Moto V3i Dolce & Gabanna one and it's not provider branded, and it's unlocked.

Cincinnati Bell just got them in. I looked at one today. They're selling them for $349.99 with a plan, but Cincinnati Bell doesn't do contracts, so there ya go. 🙂
