Leave Sprint for T-Mobile (DASH)?

sound

Where to start!

1) I have been with Sprint for 6 years through good and bad. I have no quams with coverage and in-store support has gone up since the merger. Phone support is always top-notch.

2) I need a Smart Phone and I fell in love with THE DASH! I have to have it. I does everything I need. I think..... does anyone have any comments about it. Sprints phones selection seems weak.

3) I am concerned about T-Mobiles customer service, not that I have heard anything bad, I just havent heard anything and Sprint has been fine lately.

4)T-Mobiles plans seem better (much better).

5)How is coverage?

6)The Caveat ..... How can I get out of my contract?

the dash is great, only downfall is that you cannot edit windows office files on. It is currently the only phone tmobile offers with a full windows mobile suite.

Coverage with tmobile is not bad, better in some areas then in other but same can be said about all carriers.

as far as customer service goes 4years worth of jd power awards so far. customer care is one of the areas in which tmobile is trying to set itself apart from the other carriers, with that said I know that many people are gonna jump on that comment with insults and rants about how bad the customer service is. ohh well though most people complain when they dont get there way.

I have no advice on how to get out of your contract good luck on that part.

For T-Mobiles plans. I can no longer count how many times they have changed their slogan so far. Makes me think they cannot make up their mind on company views and structure. The Get More plans are better, for what I would call a decent company that seems to have the lowest home coverage area of them all. Based on their own maps. However, in light of their attempt to rollout HSDPA on the new spectrum they bought, they plan to discontinue the Get More plans and all service for said plans in the near future..replacing them with the MyFave's plans.

From what I've calculated the MyFav's plans are the same as Sprint's in cost per unit. Making me believe that MyFav's can turn out to be the next standardization of wireless plans. However,...

When was "Talk it out" a T-Mobile slogan? T-Mobile has used the Get More slogan since 2002. Just curious. 🙂

Where are you located? Check out http://compass.t-mobile.com for coverage maps. I have the dash and love it. Works very well.

The Dash is a great phone. I'll admit that it's not the smallest phone out there. If you want a small phone...consider the Blackberry Pearl. It has the many of the same camera, music player and Internet capabilities of the dash (except wi-fi)

However, if you like to text or use the net, the dash is for you. The lack of Office Suite was the deciding factor that made me choose the MDA instead (which reads AND creates Office Documents). However...the Dash is much more compact and can VIEW word, excel, powerpoint documents as well as PDF's and supports My Faves.

Both support A2DP (Wicked cool bluetooth headphones that sound great allow you to change songs and take calls without touching the phone) Try the Motorola HT8...
