I am not sure what you mean, but most phones currently offered by T-mobile do have what is called Ring-tone Caller ID, meaning you set a ring-tone with each contact and then when that person calls the phone plays the ring-tone associated with that person. I hope this helps some.

what i need to know if the ringer announce the phone number of the person calling you. if you are away from your phone you can hear who's calling you. if its a important call you can pick up the phone otherwise leave it ringing. no need to rush to pick up the call.
Sprint and Verizon phones has this feature.

It may not be a SprintPCS/Verizon feature, but a feature of the phone manufacturer. Someone mentioned LG. I know Sanyo had a nice feature where if you phone was lost, you could have the phone locked but display a message saying what number to call to return it to the owner.

Don't LG phones do that on driving mode? Does T-mo carry LG phones?

Nope. I hated LG when I worked for SprintPCS.

yea i have the LG EnV with Verizon and when someone calls, as long as there # and name are in my phonebook the phone announces the name of who is calling. Pretty sweet feature...i think its an LG thing.

By the way just left t-mobile to Verizon and i'm very satisfied

I don't know, but my sister has Sprint, and when the caller blocks the #, the phone says "unknown caller". Her phone's a Sanyo. My friend's phone does this too, also a Sanyo on Sprint.
