SOC Code?

Any of you guys know what SOC code stands for? The SOC?

And if so...you ever heard of FOC codes? What's that stand for?

Never heard of FOC code, Samson is the system customer care uses to make changes to customers accounts and the SOC codes are the codes attached to the features and rate plans that tell the system what the customer has.

SOC is also Systems Operator Code. A term used in TDMA systems to identify what carrier the phone uses, sort of like the MNC in GSM (T-Mobile's MNC is 310 260)

SOC can also mean "System-On-a-Chip" meaning a complete system of processors and controllers integrated into one silicon wafer.

the only meaning of FOC I know is "Firm Order Confimation" or "Firm Order Commitment" which is just a response to a ASR (Access Service Request) between carriers (either intra- or inter- LATA)
