2yo T-MO customer wants a Pearl - Best Deal?

I've been a T-mobile customer for 2 years now...my first and only phone was the Moto A630 (which they dont even make anymore) which I still have and use.

I really want the BB Pearl but the in-store rep says the best deal I can get is to pay $200 for the phone PLUS sign up for another 2 year contract.

Being that I am now a month to month customer in good standing can I haggle to get a better deal out of them either on the price of the phone or paying the $200 but not signing a contract and staying as a month to month?

The in-store rep was not having any dealing, can I deal on the phone with a customer rep?

Any advice?!?

Check your pricing again. There have been some great handset price changes to make it even better to remain a t-mobile customer.

I love how people think they should pay less than $200 for equipment that retails for well over $500... 🙄

Seriously "I've been a customer for two years" 🤣

Well I've been in touch with reality for 25 years and You aren't gonna get a deal on a phone if you don't sign a contract. Why should T-Mobile commit to you and pay half the retail cost of the phone so you can stay month to month?

And seriously, if you don't have $200 to spend on the phone, then you probably don't need it.

When you say check pricing again do you mean by phone? I literally just walked out of the store and they said $200 minimum to stay a T-Mobile customer.

Any more advice would be much appreciated.

Check different stores and websites, and you will find different prices. Also, really ask yourself, do I need a Blackberry. Think of the features that you want, and nine times out of ten, you will find them in another lower-priced phone.
