Blackberry Pearl Service - Orange County, CA

I was a long time Verizon user but now I am considering getting the BB Pearl with T-Mobile because for the money I can get more from T-Mobile it seems. I travel all over the US for work and want a reliable service. Most important though the phone has to have the features I want and the Pearl seems to but how well does the service work in my area? I hear so many mixed reviews its hard to tell.

Anyone with the BB Pearl in OC here? Comments would be great.

Thank you

Hey JM,

I too am a verizon customer and have been looking at the Pearl as an alternative. I can't help you as far as service on the Pearl itself, BUT if you go to:

you can actually check your specific location. I love the coverage check from t-mobs. I have heard that the Pearl is very good at holding a signal even on the fringe of coverage so this may be worth your time. Hopefully, this helps! Good luck!

Go with the pearl from AT&T you will receive greater battery life due to how hard t-mobile phones have to search for signal.
