why don't you just do some research on who has the best coverage in your area and where you spend most of your time? Price for a phone and plan can only go so far, a price won't give you service.

That's not what he's asking. He's asking "whos (sic) Ur Fav" (He's been doing a lot of text messages without predictive text assistance and he can't shut it off.)

Now isn't this just a little bit silly. He drops into a T-Mobile forum and asks who your favorite "cell phone company" is.

Why Verizon of course! Sheesh!

I sell t-mobile, and I love them the most for their prices, but for my needs, I gotta say I like Sprint better. 😳

well personally i like my cingular mostly because it works where i live and work. rollover doesn't hurt since i go over my minutes every now and then but i can do without it. i like texting but i don't do enough to the point that i need unlimited (not really a deal breaker for me). i looked up verizon and the service seems just as good, but alot of my friends and family have cingular so i'd figure mobile2mobile would be a good option too. Plus i liked cingular phones too.

Im not ganna go troll and say I NEVER had dropped calls, i just got alot fewer since i switched, it went from 12 to 2.

Cingular is my favorite but Verizon is right behind.

us cellular has the best reception/service/customer care that i've seen so far. i use tmobile, but half of my calls are never received [go straight to my voicemail] and the other half which are outgoing, fail. i don't live in their service area, i probably live like 20 minutes out of it. a friend of mine has it and has no issues. what is tmobile's prl update number, and is it safe to use while out roaming, or do i need to be in a home area? i think my phone needs to be updated.

by the way, the person who sold me my pearl was pretty much worst associate i have ever met. i'll never go back to that location again. i know all associates aren't like that.

holy cow, i'm rambling.

GSM carriers don't have a PRL number. All updates are done automatically to the sim card via an Over The Air update.

I would say SunCom for coverage because you have access to all of Cingular's, T-Mobile's, Cellular One's and of course SunCom's network so in most places you actually have 2 or more carriers you can select which is always a nice feeling.
However, the difference in customer service from T-Mobile to SunCom is night and day, with SunCom you call in and you can tell they don't want to deal with you and want you off of the phone. With T-Mobile you get "It's a great day at T-Mobile, what can I do for you?" and their commitment to "One call resolution"
