Okay, to start off, I'm rather ignorant about most things regarding cell phones.

I'm looking to purchase a new phone, as I've been a Virgin Mobile customer for a few years and I've had the same phone (https://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php? p =161). So I'd like a new one.

I'm currently looking to switch to T-Mobile's prepaid service, since I don't use my phone enough to sign up for a two year contract. However, their prepaid phone selection is quite unappealing. Now, what I'm wondering is if it'd be feasible to purchase an unlocked Samsung SGH-E350 and a blank/new T-Mobile SIM card and use it with their prepaid service.

If anyone could provide me with any answers, or suggest a better course of action, I would be thankful.

Just remember that with an unlocked phone you will not be able to purchase downloads from T-Mo.
