I've been shopping (boy have I been shopping!) and I have found the cheapest way to get mobile Internet and E-mail is to get a prepaid Tmo to go with a Sidekick. While i'd hate to be seen carrying a device Paris Hilton has *shudders* I think Its best.

How's the SK for web browsing? As this is the primary use of the SK, i would like to know how it compares to a PDA? Same? Not as good but still acceptable?

I am looking at both the SK1 color and SK2 from ebay. How are those? I am not using it as a phone, just as a data device.

2 last little questions:



1. One the Sk1 Color, what is the big blank white button? a D-key??

2. Just curious, I'd probably never actually call anyone on my SK, but.. how do you dial on one? I mean if t...

Don't bother. If data is the only intended use, go with a different provider. T-mob's internet speed is sloooooooow. Very slow. My wife's best friend's brother is deaf. He and his friends are just dying to get rid of their sk2's because of problems.
