Is The SK3 Really that bad??

Ok, so my trusty SE S710a has finally gone onto a better place. I have been seriously bouncing back and forth with the SK3. I have been hearing some negative reviews and software issues. Does anyone know if they have been cleared up yet and is it really as big a P.O.S. as some say??

Calls forward to VM -- "no known network issues"

๐Ÿ˜ฒ I currently use an unlocked Nokia 6220i and have used it on TMobile for over a year now. I never had any issues until recently. Phone calls are forwarding to VM on their own. I have a setting my phone to do so if I choose but never use it. I know two other people here in my area this is happening to. Today I purchased a prepaid Cingular SIM and so far no forwarding. Who can I contact to have this investigated further. I paid good money for my phone and now am 80% sure it's TMobile not my phone. Any suggestions

Samsung T6009 VS. Samsung T809

Hi guys - I have a question. I am making a decision as early as tomorrow and I wanted to know your thoughts about these two phones. I posted a thread on this a few weeks ago but now I am more serious about making a decision. Other than the fact that the 609 is a flip vs the 809 being a slider what else can anyone say about these two phones and which I should get? I am partial to flips but I read that the 609 does not come with a USB cable or software card and the 809 has dust problems under the main screen. Can anyone else shed light on these two handsets and which way they think I should go? Price is not an issue so you dont need to comment on that because I am getting a special daeal where they are both costing me the same amount. PLEASE H...

V360 Discontinued?

I have been with T-Mobile for about 8-9 years (was with the company that was bought by the company that T-Mobile bought).

Saturday eve I extended my service for the required 2 years and bought a new moto V360. The phone that I received is junk. Not the V360's in general, just this one. My son has had his for about 2 months and loves his (he lives with me), and that's why I got the V360.

But my phone rarely has any service. Multiple calls to customer service ended in me being sent back to the store for a new phone. NO phones available in a 6 store area, I am told that the V360 is discontinued.

What gives?

Trying to choose new carrier...

Hi and thanks in advance to anybody who posts a helpful reply.

I'm trying to choose a new carrier. I'm currently using Cingular in the Chicago area with the Sony-Ericsson S710a phone. I like the phone but the voice quality stinks. A few other people I know with Cingular in this area also have not the greatest voice quality, and they have different phones.

I've used Verizon in the past (maybe five years ago?) and Nextel (up until last year) and T-Mobile (three years ago maybe).

I really did not like Verizon. For one thing, they sent an incorrect non-payment report to a credit bureau on me because THEY forgot to mark my account as closed and it took 4 years to clear it up. For another, I just didn't think the voice quality was all tha...

Ok, T-Mobile To Go is the best in the Prepaid industry

T-Mobile To-Go definantly has more value and the minutes last longer because T-Mobile does not take advantage of you by charging you a daily access fee. I went to another prepaid service, but came running back to T-Mobile. My minutes do go much much further on this network.

T-Mobile Sidekick 3 V.S. Samsung T809

Hey Everyone, I am going to buy a new phone within the next few weeks and I have narrowed my choice down to the Sidekick 3 or the Samsung T809. I will be paying full retail price because I upgraded my contract for another 2 year contract in March for the Motorola PEBL, which I do like, but I would like something new and better. I know both of the phones have their own pro's and cons, but I was needing other people's opinions. Tell me as much and you want/can. You can either recommend a different phone. All help is very much appreciated, Thanks.

-Drew.

T-Mobile and Coverage

I wish that other carriers would be more truthful about there coverage as T-Mobile is. The may not have the most coverage as the other carriers do, but at least they are upfront about. Just bought service for my son there because all of his friends had T-mobile. And when I went in there I asked them about there coverage and they took me to the t-mo website and showed me there personal coverage checker. I believe that they are the only carrier that list the bars you are more that likely going to get when in that shade of color. Unlike cingular that just shows you regional maps and not down to street level coverage.

I guess that T-Mobile will always be know as the truthful carrier.

PS What is T-mobile like on there roaming agreement? Ar...

Activation?

Okay, so I used to have a SK for about two+ years untill my SK2 broke and I didnt want to replace it so I quite. Now I work for Cingular wireless and despite my free employee rate plans, I went back to Tmobile today for the new SK3 because I love them so much. So the store rep said of course, service activation couuuld take up to 24 hours. But normally around 3. Well, in this time, its still waiting, but I sould have a GPRS connection with the G in the lower left hand corner correct? Or the phone? Cause I dont remember! Its been so long.

Has this happened to you????

I went to the t-mobile website to purchase an sk3 prepaid plan. after i put in all cc info and stuff, they processed the order. all of a sudden i got a message saying the order was incomplete and that it needed to be reviewed. so i call the 800# and they tell me i can't get it and that i have to go to the t-mobile store with ID. the price for the phone at the t-mobile store is $579. I kept asking WHY and they would not give me an answer, only that i cant order it on the site. my cc company said the charge was approved so it wassnt anything with my card. Does anyone have an idea why this happened? Now imma have to get it on ebay or something.

A New Carrier Question

Hey I have an idea just tell me what you all think. If I am currently with T mobile hence the post on the T mobile website. But like many I get hit with a pretty good size of overages every month. Now, tell me what you all think about this.

If I had a carrier that offered many plans, for the sake of this example 4. Now my plan would include something like:

monthly anytime Night/wk Mobile to
cost Minutes Minutes Moobile
39.99 400 Unlim Unlim
59.99 800 Unlim Unlim
79.99 1200 Unlim Unlim
99.99 1900 Unlim Unlim

Now here is the catch unlike other carriers that charge you overages, this plan "flex" to the closest plan. So everyone starts at the 39.99 unless their wishes to start higher. As they use their mins, when they went over the...

Your youngest Parent assisted contract.

I am going carrier to carrier asking this question,
I know all of the crap about the need to be an adlut for you to be able to sign a contract, but what is your youngest parent assisted contract. I had a 8 year old kid and his mom come in and purchase the samsung a640 for sprint. and you know the sad part, the kid had a better phone than his mom.

Can I Page My Phone?

I have an alert system that can send out a page to your phone. It can not send e-mail. Is there a way to page my T-Mobile phone by dialing a phone number?

Thanks!

Issues against T-Mobile PDA Support. Especially, with the BB 7105t!!!

๐Ÿ‘ฟ Now I am not trying to be nasty here but when you read about my situation, you'll definitely feel my frustration.

I upgraded my T-Mobile phone last November to the RIMM BlackBerry 7105t thinking that this would be a reprieve w.r.t. my older phone, a Siemens C(rap) F(one) 62T. Turns out it was SOME REPRIEVE!!! Long Story short, I have been getting Uncaught Exception Errors related to the Application Registry about 10 times between November and the present time. Some of them even took place while I was in midstream of a conversation with work related issues. (How Annoying and further more Embarrassing!!)

After numerous complaints (atleast 3 times, possbly more) to T-Mobile and their PDA Support Group, a "WARRANTY EXCHANGE" was...

CAN I USE ANY UNLOCKED CINGULAR PHONE ON T-MOBILE'S NETWORK?

I hate T-Mobile's line-up of phones and want to use their network with another company's phone. Can I basically use any quad-band GSM phone on T-Mobile's network?
