Rockland County, NY Coverage?

Hi,

The coverage map for Rockland County looks a little spotty, can anyone in this area give me an Idea of their actual experience with service? I'm trying to decide between Tmobile & Verizon and although I like alot about tmobile, I need to have good service in rockland. Any help would be great thanks.

I CAN'T DECIDE!! HELP!!

I'm torn between several cell phones...I'm due for an upgrade (have been for over 5 months) and waited desperately for the new t809. But after reading all the cons and how you cant use your own mp3's as ringtones, now I don't know what to get. Is the PEBL capable of custom/unlocked mp3 ringtones? Should I just get the v360? Or should I get the Sidekick 2? I was thinking about switching to cingular but their plans are very expensive and dont give many minutes. Help pleease what should I get?

What I'm looking for in a phone:
IM Capability
Unlocked mp3 ringtones
Speakerphone

Camera/Video, 2nd display, etc would all be nice but if a phone has those 3 features then please let me know. Thank you so much!

ANY FORMER AT&T WIRELESS RETAIL SALES REPS HERE????

Just wondering how the compensation checks are compared to AT&T Wireless before they were purchased by cingular. Also is it better than the current comp. offered by cingular? Im tired of my paycut and may try to come over if the pay and comp. is better. any input would be great.

Does Sidekick Data-only plan include Puerto Rico?

I think it does, as it's a national plan, but I'd like to confirm.

Thanks for any info you can provide'.

Motorola Releases Gold V3i: Dolce& Gabbana

Dolce & Gabbana will soon be selling the new V3i in GOLD.

Don't believe it? Check out Motorola's website: http://www.motorola.com/mediacenter/news/deta il/0,,6228_6183_23,00.html

Supposedly there are only 1,000 of them. ...I kinda want one. It's cute.

But on the case of the regular V3i, It bring me great sadness to know that Cingular will most likely get it first. I've been checking on the Cingular forums for the past few days, and their reps are saying Jan. 6th is the release date.

Goodbye Cingular; Hello TMobile

Just switched my phone service to TMo from Cingular after buying the Samsung T809 (happily paid the early termination fee just to be rid of Cingular's horrible service). I already had the BlackBerry 7105 from TMo and have had great service in SF, LA, Vegas, & NY with no problems. I appreciate being able to speak to a TMo customer service rep in only 1-2 minutes (Cingular leaves you on hold forever!). My service is strong in all areas of the city and the T809 & 7105 are great.

Battery life on the T809

The battery life seems to be horrible on the samsung 809. it seems after i fully charge it, if only takes a few mins of talking / using t-zones, that the batter meter begins to drop and fast. I am so used to the razr, this is going to be a problem for some specially the car charger is not available yet at the tmobile store. Any other 809 owners noticed this? other that that, the phone is awesome.

Motorola V3i

So, I was doing some browsing on ebay trying to locate some headphones for my razr when I came across some interesting pictures of the V3i. What was so 'interesting' about these pictures?? The service provider in the back of the screen holds the name of one great company name: T-Mobile

Now, I'm not too sure what that means exactly, maybe we're getting it/maybe we're not. I'm quite positive that Verizon will be getting the V3c, due to the fact that it has streaming video casting..but hey--I'd be happy with either.

Anywho- Below are links to the pictures that I found. I moved them to my photobucket account because the ebay page will probably expire within a few days (but i'll add in the link for that page below anyway).

Pleas...

Complete BS

So, recently the 1500 minutes for $39.99 deal came out, and even though I rarely if ever go over 1000 minutes, I thought "why not?". So I switched plans.

In doing so, it dropped my T-Zones for $2.99/month. They didnt tell me it would do that. Of course, now the service is $5.99 a month. So, $36/year more for the same service. I know it isn't much money, but its the principle - especially when the CSR's only excuse is that the script they read me had the phrase "some features may not be available depending on the plan selected" or some nonsense. AND, I had to figure out what happened on my own - even though the CSR could see what was on my plan when I switched, they didnt add the T-Zones back on, even at the inflated price. I figure...

T-Mobile NEEDS to expand their phone selection!

I have T-Mobile, I think they are a good carrier. But they need to get new phones. All I see on their website is Nokia, Motorola, Samsung, Danger, and Blackberry. Although these manufacturers are great, T-Mobile's competitors have several other manufacturers in their line up. I just bought a Nokia 3120 from Cingular and unlocked it for T-Mobile. I love the phone and wish that T-Mobile had it in its line-up.

T-Mobile, you need to get more new phones more often. Cingular gets a new phone on average of every month, whereas you all bring in a new phone every 3 to 5 months.
