So the other day i was walking through the store and i could hear a full conversation through the damn walkie talkie phone. i felt like saying yeah we all realize you have a walkie talkie phone now call the person. i get so sick of hearing that chirp then the conversation! 😡

While you are certainly entitled to your opinion concerning walkie-talkie conversations and phones, here is my problem with what you are saying; first, why is it folks such as yourself never condemn public speakerphone conversations in general? I hear lots of folks using the speakerphone feature on non-PTT phones all of the time, yet, never once do I see anyone post anything condemning that practice, ONLY condemnation for those on Nextels who do it. Second, why is there also NO CONDEMNATION of walkie-talkies in general, either? I never see anything posted by anyone complaining about regular walkie-talkies that are being used by families (i.e. the Moto "talkabouts"), why is this?
