Changing Phones
I currently have a Motorola i335 which is starting to act up. I would like to switch it out with another phone. I have an old Motorola i870 without a SIM card. If the sim works in the 335 and not in the 870, there is probably something wrong with the i870. Try a different sim in the i870 and see what happens. My bet is it won't work with any sim.

i have seen that happen where the black sim will not work. the new ones (falcon 128k i think) are yellow. there is a way to get you numbers (if they are on the sim card) off of one and put on another, all you have to do is go into a sprint store and ask them to transfer them with their cellbrite machine.

Ok, I know this is old but...All you have to do is grab a different phone, call custmer care and they can activate the phone & sim card together. They'll walk you through a master reset and voila!
