Sprint Family Locator.

Hi,

had a question, When you are tracking..say you son on the sprint family locator, and they child becomes smart and turns off his GPS for his cell phone, can the locator still track them?

I could be wrong but it only turns it off for certain applications. 911 and that will still work.
