it depends where you are. if you had been having nextel for a long time and you been having great service, there is no point of leaving.

I would also look at the benefits each provides, do your friends mainly use one over the other? Do you need PTT service and if so have you tried both at a store? What areas will you be using it and do either have good coverage there? Look at features such as free calling to other users of the same company and also look at the phone offerings to see which you prefer. Nextel used to have a lot of big and cluncky phones but they have started rolling out smaller Motorola products!

does nextel have better service in your area then verizon?
what features attract you to nextel that verizon doesnt have?
do you want push to talk?
do you want free incoming?
etc..
all those questions come into play... also remember you have a 15 day policy that you can always try to see if the reception and service is right for you.

hahahah. true. i am enjoally the nascar cup. i think nextel did a r especially the nascar cup. i think nextel did a great job and increased their brand awareness without spending a fortune. 75 million plus potential customers.. why not..

Me and my buddy were at a bar Friday night and got in the middle of a bachlorette party (My wife provoked the ladies to attack us). Come to find out the one getting married works for Nascar, I couldn't really understand what she did but she said she was the only women in the sport that gets to go over the Pit wall durring races. She said she did something with Elliot Sadler and Michael Waltrips cars last weekend. Her sister hates Nascar and we ended up in the best debate at another bar with her later on.
