yea, markf. i have tested the 605 also and it is a great phone!! i like my blackberry 7520 better though, al though the only problem on the bb is that it doesnt let you do 2 way text, but you can always get around that.

i would take the 605, you wont regret it!

you cant get it to two way text. it only has sms on the system.

with your last question, i cant disclose any information such as that, however, what i can say is that i have been told by nextel partners that there will be a new blackberry out in the following quarter. (atleast in this quarter or next. hope that helps)

Actually a Blackberry will recieve two-way text message and sms. SMS is the preferred route but both will work.

More disclosure BS.....Nextel plans to have a version of the 7100 series Blackberry this fall. Nothing new.

I understand. Sadly I deal with NDAs all the time. One of my best friends works for HP. I can ask him all kinds of questions and get answers from him without him violating anything. Only because I research enough stuff before I ask him a question so I learn just how to phrase the question.

A perfect example is Apple's current move to x86 processors in their computers. A while back HP introduced the HP Apple iPod. Back then I asked him when the HP Apple was coming out. He didn't say a word. I said. Cool. So the next couple years. Got it. Less than a year later... Apple announces their move to x86 Intel Processors.

I can conclude that it will be a different form factor than the current model available. If it were the same.....

i thought nextel was a tdma carrier, which means that their phones do not have sim card slots...???????
