Can I use my sim card in other nextel phones?

I have a question. I have the i58sr and would like to start using the i355. Will the sim card work in that phone? Also the nextel store I went to said that not all the features would work because I would be going to a 3 number(355) fron a 2 number(5😎. Is this true? Someone tell me everything I need to know.

PS-- I am trying to avoid buying from nextel

thats right, the 2 digit series sim will work in the 3 digit, but you wouldn't be ablr to use all the functions of the 355, and possibly none of your contacts would come over.
