...with the Sprint merger, if a subscriber makes a change to their Nextel account do they automatically tack on another two years???
...
it depends what they do and what the language states on the account modifications.
it will vary by just adding some services to adding a rate plan to buying a phone.

What if you had two lines on one account and wanted to change one from 300 inc free to the 1000 anytime deal?
...
You may change your rate plan anytime within the first year at no charge*. After the first year, any rate plan changes you want will reset to 2 years. (* keep in mind it is free to change your rate plan at anytime.)
hope that helps.

through who? Nextel Partners charges 9.99 for a price plan change and requires a contract extension for one year. The only way the contract would not extended is if the current end contract date is further out then one year.
...
nextel partners always had their own price point and language then legacy nextel and sprint.
if you are not in a nextel partner's market you have the contract language that i previously mentioned.

actually it's a 3 month (90 day for the slow people) period. if you started a rate plan and wanted to change it Sprintel gives you 3 months to change it WITHOUT extending ur current contract. outside of 3 months u are adding another contract whichever you are on. 😲
