i was looking at nextel family plans and all i see is the team share plans but they dont have unlimited direct connect...does nextel have a family plan w/ direct connect? i know u can add unlimited direct connect for $10 a phone but that seems extremely costly.

1st of all how many phones are looking to put on the family plan, second is how many min. are you looking for and last do you need LD for your celluar?

The team share plan to me is useless. You might have to do what I do and get separate plans for each phone on the account. I have two phones on one acct each with the 300 unl incoming that way I can get unl DC mins. By going team share you'll be nickel & dimed to death, extra $10 per line per mo for unl DC and another $10 per line per mo for unl M2M, etc. etc.

All the 10 dollars does is convert the direct connect you have to national direct connect. It does not give unlimited nationwide direct connect. 2ndly, in partners market I don't sell that plan because it sucks very bad. We have alot of other share plans that do not charge for voicemail and caller ID and included unlimited local direct connect.

So see, Ace25 is better off going to either the Sprint side of the force or try one of those unl incoming plans. The unl incoming and there is one other set of plans that give you unl DC, etc. The F&F and TeamShare nickel & dime you for unl this and unl that.

i want the family plan b/c my sister and her fiance split the cost and then i pay the price for the add a line (20)....Is there any other plans besides the natl team share plans that can Share minutes and include unlim direct connect? i dont see any on the nextel site.
basically it looks better to split up and get our own lines
...

To the best of my knowledge, the Nat'l Team Share is the only one that allows you to 'share' minutes... Even if you did 'share' you would still have to pay an extra $10/mo per line to get unl M2M cell mins and another $10/mo per line for unl DC mins...

yea thats what i thought...i dont care bout unlimited m2m..but i do care about unlim DC...thats so stupid that they dont offer Unlimited DC on a FAMILY PLAN...what are they thinking there? seriously

Indeed. It seems they are trying at any cost to keep the Nextel side's ARPU as high as possible even though it contradicts the whole purpose of merging. Last I checked unl ReadyLink with Sprint PCS was only an add-on (small charge, extra $10/mo) vs the Nextel side of things... Instead of merging they are still competing with each other.
