Sprint.....together with nextel

Is it me or does this new slogan sound as if sprint and nextel's merger was only allowed in the state of Massachusetts.

i would agree! my phone used to say "please hold while the SPRINT subscriber you are trying to reach is located" then it went back to "please hold while the NEXTEL subscriber you are trying to reach is located". why are they doing that? i think that they are trying to make there customers wonder if they have sprint or nextel!

Indeed, same in central Florida. Went from Sprint back to Nextel. I can't say anything, though, if it wasn't for the fact that Sprint doesn't work in my house and I blew a couple bucks on new Nextel phones, I would've migrated to the Sprint side for the price points...
