I know right now that Blackberry service is only available through Nextel, but am wondering if it will ever make it's way to the Sprint side or not. Nextel service plans are much more expensive than Sprint's in general including the data packages and with Verizon as the leading CDMA competitor with Sprint I wonder why Sprint hasn't made a move for Blackberry equipment yet.

I think they were relying on the use of Smartphones (PDA style & etc) to entice heavy email users vs the Blackberry phones... I couldn't agree more on the price differences between Nextel plans & Sprints but they want to do everything in their power to keep Nextel's ARPU on top...

Yeah, I called them over lunch and they offer the 7250 to business subscribers only (Sprint that is). The 7250 - CDMA and 7520 - iDEN - are the same price. As for data plans all the carriers charge the same for Blackberry service - except for TMo.
As for rate plans you can get Fair and Flexible on iDEN devices and Free Incoming on CDMA. You get the best of both worlds.
Unlimited data on CDMA devices - i.e. Vision - is less expensive but a totally different animal.
