internet!
Does anyone know if nextel's internet/data service is going to get any faster? even when i have full service it still takes a long time to recieve information. i have been with nextel for 2 years and its always been slow. i was wondering since sprint and nextel have become one, if this would change?

well, you would need to be on that phone/pda to take advantage of that data speed upgrade. they are upgrading their data speeds from what it is now to WIDEN which goes UP to 70-80kb/s.

At best you will bet 70-80k. More realistic speeds are 40k.

well thats true! I dont use the net for business i just use it for my Text messaging and aol messenger... sometimes i check my e-mail and movie times but thats it... i just think that its dumb how slow the damn thing is... im considering going back to vzw just because you dont have to have the net to use messaging.... i dont know i dont feel like paying more just because i already pay damn $76 on a good month for just my phone. thanks for the info!!
