The i580 is on Nextel's website, in case you all haven't already noticed. Very expensive, but still awesome...I want one.

It's still cheaper than the i870. It pretty much has all the features of the i870 plus militray specifications/ruggedness. If only I wasn't on T-Mobile...

Wow, where do you live where you can actually get a T-Mobile signal? I'm in rural northern Ohio, and for T-Mobile to work, you basically have to go to an interstate or to Cleveland or Columbus. Yes, Nextel would be a better choice. If only that contract was up, eh...

I live in Brooklyn, NY and pretty much get a signal everywhere except in Patk Slope (an area in Brooklyn).

Well that makes sense then, since your near New York City. In my case, I would have to drive about 35-40 miles to get a T-Mobile signal. Unless it roams to Cingular, which isn't very good here either. We have three choices: Nextel, Alltel, Verizon.
