Question about quitting and signing up again

Ok, so here's the deal I'm trying to figure if nothing should go wrong. My fathers nextel contract is up and he basiclly needs a new phone, since his is barelly functions. I tried calling nextel and asking them for the discount on the new phone, but after calling them about 3 times in a row, their price for the same exact model raised about 30$ each time I called them. So I decided I should cancel then plan (not worrying about getting different number) and get a new contract thru the website with a really cheap discount on the phone. So my question is, after I cancel the contract, can I get a new contract same or maybe day after or is there going to be some kind of problems during this process? Thanks.

There shouldn't be any problem if your dad's contract is up already. You and your dad need to walk into an actual store and handle this. It's been my experience that things go alot smoother face to face.

if you dont have a upgrade blackout, then youre going to get the same price that new customers already have....no one in customer "i dont" care knows their ass from their faces
