Nextel coverage in Seattle Metro Area?

Anyone know how Nextel coverage in the Seattle area is? or Anywhere else in Washington State for that matter??? I am wanting a rugged phone like the i580 and Nextel seems to be the only option of all the carriers that offer such phones. I just can't seem to find anyone in Seattle that uses them.

You would think that there would be a market for other mfg's or carriers to offer a rugged/h20 resistant/mil spec phone.

I would apprieciate any info from anyone that lives or has traveled using nextel in Seattle.

Thanks!!!

INSIDE seattle is solid. the i-5 corridor between tacoma and vader(about 30-45 minutes north of Vancouver) is sketchy, but you'll have coverage in a pinch as long as you stay on the corridor. Portland/Metro area is solid... pretty much all the major metros and cities that aren't considered rural you'll be good in. aside from seattle/tacoma areas, where will you be using the phone?

I will be using on I-90/eastside of seattle and possibly in the Mid-West/St.Louis area as well.

Thanks for the info 😁
