Please Help Me With My Project

Hello, I am doing a project for a class, picking the best and worst cell phone service providers (that are offered in my area) and I need to collect information via a survey from cell phone users about the services that they have received from their respective carriers. So I figured what better place to post then here at phonescoop.com. If you would like to help me with my project here is what I need:

Name of carrier:
Rate Carrier (1 good - 10 bad):
What you liked:
What you didn’t:
What phone did (do) you have (be as specific as possible):
How did CS treat you?:
How long were (have) you (been) with them:
Then just your comments:

At the end just an area code (for classification purposes only):

Just copy and paste the above and...

New Customer Question

This may be a little off base, but does anyone know at what cost Nextel offers service to people with less than perfect credit? I am with T-Mobile now, and their phone selection is thin and reception in my area is covered much better by Nextel. I am still working to clean up my credit after someone stole my wallet and ran up my cards in a day.

With the merger and all...

would it be wise to join Nextel now? Should I wait?

If not, I was thinking about getting the i860 or the i830/i833. Which one is best?

Thanks!

i605 and i930 annouced at the CES 2005

https://www.phonescoop.com/articles/ces_2005/index.p ... »

The i605 is Motorola's first iDEN phone with Bluetooth. It has a huge display, but it otherwise similar to other bar-style iDEN phones. The i605 is expected in the second quarter.

The i930 is Motorola's new ultra-high-end iDEN phone. It's a really ambitious model, with dual color displays, a camera, Windows Mobile, GSM, infrared, and an SD card slot. It might be a bit too ambitious, though... It's been in the rumor mill for about a year and a half now, and according to Moto, it still won't be out until the second half of 2005.

Let me in the scoop!!

I have been with nextel for 4 years ( have an i730 now) and am itching to buy a PDA phone - the blackberry looks embarrassing compared to some of the PDA other carriers have.
My local store owner told me he heard through the grapevine that a decent PDA is coming out.(he knows no more than that!)
I maybe forced to change providers if nothing happens soon!
Please anyone & everyone reply with ANY info you have ie. features, date of release etc.
Appreciate.

Apart from the obvious issues related to the integration of two disparate networks, the Sprint Nextel merger has longer-term technology implications, especially related to emerging wireless broadband solutions.

The two networks will continue along their separate paths for the time being – Sprint pushing ahead with its CDMA2000 1XEV-DO upgrade in 2005 and 2006, and Nextel Communication...

Question about Boost Mobile Service..

Hey all,

I am planning to get a Boost Mobile Phone. Boost Mobile charges 25c per minute, and they round it up per minute..

My question is, if I talk on the phone once for 20 seconds, and then I talk on the phone again for 30 seconds.. (50 seconds total) .. does this mean I get charged 50cents or 25cents?

I didn't quite understand what they said about the rounding up part, can anyone confirm this if anyone understands what I'm saying.

Basically, is it $25 cents for each call no matter what or can I still continue on from my previous minutes or whatever..

Thanks
