I called Alltel's customer service and the rep told me that the Moto Slvr was coming sometime soon. Does anyone know a more specific date she told me sometime in the next 3 months. Between Alltel and Verizon, whoever gets it first is who I am going with.

USCC has it right now. I don't know what's taking Alltel and Verizon so long to release it. Usually it's USCC that's slow in releasing phones.

Having actually played with this phone now, I can honestly tell you that you're better off with with the V3m or the U520.
Neither carrier has commited to it 100% yet because of antenna problems, as well has the normal Motorola issues.

I have the Krazr now but I am not big on flip phones. I want to go back to a candy bar style phone and the Nokia sucks...

Regional carriers also have it. It's not exclusive to Sprint.
The Nokia is also an impressive phone. My only gripes with it are the small buttons, and the lack of camera. It's got almost everything else, and it's loud as heck.
