Data Plans on PDA's

Yes. For the life of me, I can't understand why they don't just charge more for the phone without the data plan, and sell it that way, but that's the way it is.

Yes you can pay retail for the phone with no data plan. Except Blackberry must ALWAYS have data plan. Audits are run if you get it removed and it will be re-added. If you speak with someone that says different refer them to the policy guide. I guarantee they will see exactly what I say. Or if you get the discounted price on smart phone, besides Blackberry, you have to wait till your out of contract to removed data plan
