Alltel LG 8600 Now Available
This morning on Alltels website it shows that the LG 8600 is now available onlione for one week only. I called to purchase the phone and I was told that the phone was not available yet. I told her about the website and she said was for new customers only. That sucks!! I am a customer wanting to spend money and they did not want my money.

Yeah I seen that and then called them to order it, according to them they did not have it and it was shipping directly from LG. So I called letstalk and ordered 2 from them, looks like they wanted my money, lol. Now if you go to Alltel it says its PREORDER, amd the same thing for letstalk, they are PREORDER only too. My package was shipped out and will be here Monday, looks like I am not supposed to have it even, hmmm. Oh well I guess.

It was 300 more than what Alltel will sell for but I just had to have it. I got it about an hour ago, and I love it. Everything about it is better so saf than the RAZR. The screen is what mostly impressed me, it is crystal clear. And everyone that I talked to at Alltel said that it will not have an external antenna port on it, but it does. I also tried to send some pictures over from the razr, and it keeps locking the RAZR up. Dont really know whats up with that.

so if i am ready to renew my contract and get a new phone, can i buy it for the one year price? or is it actually like someone said - only new customers can get it? confused - thanks

This is BS.
Alltel has delayed this phone THREE TIMES.
The first two reasons were for connection problems with BREW and Axess shop.
But, this FINAL reason was for NOTHING at all!
The new release date is the 22nd. Who am I kidding? The new release date is 2027

Sorry you guys had a hard time with the alltel sales team. I called last week (about the 14th) and had the blue 8600 2 days later (16th). I dont know why they decided to delay it and i didnt know there were 2 delays already, but im pretty sure it will be out on the 22nd since they already sent me the phone. PS: its really nice, way better than the razr.
