I haven't had the pleasure of seeing one yet. The specs say that it is stero bluetooth, so does that mean that it is data bluetooth?

I love mine so far...its real thin, like reall thin you can hardly notice its in your pocket. It has good color on the screen, good sound, not slow, so far the battery has lasted well (only had it a few hours) - it has the MP3 player of course and CellTop but I have yet to play around with those as I just got it. The only thing I'm worried about is it getting scratched up...I didn't want to get a case because I think they look queer...so I just promised myself I'll keep my keys in one pocket and phone in the other....

I haven't tried Obex yet on the bluetooth but lemme tell you, the phone = Not so good. Everyone I talk to complains of hearing massive interference or when I use the bluetooth headset they hear an echo. The signal strength is not even close to my Krazr. The Ringers don't get loud enough, the earpiece gets hot after only a couple minutes of talking...Overall I am dissapointed...I was so looking forward to this phone too...bah...

IF only it were a nokia... then i would rush out to buy it! I just dont like samsungs... tehy dont do much for me... I find them slow, ugly and boring with a stupid UI... I had the u520... isnt this just like that only it does not flip?

I think I just learned something else crappy...From what I can tell, the phone will not let you use MP3s that you have on your memory card, as ringtones...You can't copy them to the phone or anything...Wow....Suck

Okay more info - No Obex...Bluetooth for headset profile and apparently there is also a way to back up your phonebook with it (and of course DUN)...There is NO way to use your MP3 files as ringtones...This to me is the straw that breaks the camels back...What I always liked about Alltel phones is that they don't screw you by choking off features of the phone like that, that's what Verizon does...I think I will most likely return this phone tomorrow..

Hey Rob, the complaints that you're having aren't limited to Alltel, because it's not an Alltel issue. The TMO version of the phone has the same problems. It's a Samsung issue.
Since you have the KRZR, you don't really need to jump to a new phone yet, unless you really want a larger screen, then check the LG AX8600, just don't expect to find a Green one.

Yes, it does have bluetooth. Does it have data bluetooth? In meaning, can you transfer ringtones, pictures, or videos?

Pros...good signal ,great camera, easy to use mp3 and just all around great.
