LG AX 8600 Question
I get to upgrade next month and I'm pretty sure I want the LG AX 8600, but just today I saw the price online went from 49 to 99. Is this reflective of the in-store price as well? Also, does anyone have any suggestions about the LG?

It's a great phone. I use the mp3 player, camera, video. All of that. Very user friendly and Ihave not had any reception issues. Plus the case that you can get for this is much better then the ones alltel used to offer. I hated the cases-hated to sell them too- but now that and the memory card are the accesories Isell the most with this phone!!

the only known issues that i had was the restarting itself--
some have turned it in for the batterie not performing right, but i have been lucky with that my battery without a charge last about 3 days.
i got a free progtam where i cut my mp3 to short ringtones-ao im able to create and have own ringtones, the process is fairly easy on this phone
i bought the 1gb card and so far i have 700 songs and many pics on it. the sound quality is great on the mp3 player. instead of using the adapter for the headphones i just bought the headphones that goes to the 8600 and there great.
the signal on this phone is great, even when its roaming. have had no problems at all with the signal.

too bad such a complemented on phone is on such a horrible network. I know verizon pplz can get it too, but i wanted a colored one, not black.

alltel has been the better network where im at compared to sprint, tmo, and at@t. would have got verizon but they want an arm and a leg for there services-- but i found out that i get the same service with alltel as verizon gets- and i dont have to sale all my precious items to get it 😁

I am so tired of hearing verizon the best and god himself built the network. They meaning all CDMA based carriers are pretty equal. i dont have to be an expert on wirless to actually see that my ALLTEL phone has the same amount of bars than my dads old verizon phone line.
but i do have to be smart to go with whats less expensive and still have wonderful service in par with verizons. or even better to some people.

Its not tramatizing to them. What it is to them is a bunch of lies that can't possibly be true. They have the best network period. That means no deadspots or anything like that. Its the best because verizon says so in comercials. Not because its backed up by any facts. And don't say anything to the contrary.
Now with my sarcasim off:
CDMA is CDMA and its all about were you are to the tower. How many they have and so forth. It doesn't matter if you are on verizon sprint or alltel. I would love for someone to go around with a no name phone and ask people what network its on. Because the way these verizon peopel talk they should be able to tell the far superior network if its using verizon!
