Razr service not doing so good.

My wife and I renewed our contracts about 2months ago and got razrs. For whatever reason her phone has better service than mine. Usually one or two bars more 😲 . I live in the city but travel to rural areas quite a bit and those one or two bars mean a lot. What will they do if i go to the store? I'm thinking they will give me some bs and send me on my way. Anybody else ever had this problem before?

its still within the 1 year warranty, they would do an exchange, or they should.

i recently had to change my phone because it wasnt letting me go to my contacts list--my phone is about two months old to.

you can always tell a little white lie. Just say that the screen is sometimes white for a few seconds when you open it. Or something to that dramatic affect!

MOTO's Suck. I have a bunch of friends that have had so many issues with them. From software to hardware you name it. Stay away from MOtos!

Try dialing *228 option 2 ans update the prl on your phone.

Yes, definitely do the *228, #2 PRL update. The other thing is...the RAZR IS digital only. I'm glad your wife's is doing fine. I think, if it isn't the PRL issue, it's probably just the phone. The XBM program is terrific! Alltel will allow you to exchange your phone by mail during the first year of service, as it is covered by the manufacturer's warranty, provided it isn't something like abuse or water damage that is part of this. As far as Motos being bad phones, I have two...one for my personal line, one for my business line, and I have had absolutely no trouble with either of them. I am in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, where there is still a good deal of rural area, and these digital only phones are, for my money, as good as i...

The fact is stripped of all its gadgetry and name branding its still a cell phone. There is no gaurantee on it. It sounds like you have a phone issue. Go to menu, phone status and other info. Look for PRL Version. If it says 30008 then there is no need to do the PRL update your phone is already updated. The XBM program is a good way to get another phone covered by the manufacture. It will be reconditioned but hopefully work for you.

BTW your PRL can be found in phone status, other information, prl version.....
