Digital bag phone?

There was a guy that just called my store saying that Alltel is getting a digital bag phone. I brushed it off as regular customer nonsense, but my boss said that Alltel is getting one. I don't see any information about it in the phones or news section. Does anyone have any information about a "digital bag phone?" It doesn't make much sense to me. I'm pretty sure the FCC put a cap on the amount of power you can put into a cell phone so why would you want to carry around a huge bag phone? Anyone have any light on this?

I called the local Alltel store, and it looks like they're carrying the Motorola M800. It's not up on the website. Any other Alltel stores carrying that phone?

Does anyone know if that uses 3 watts or not?

Verizon is getting this too. It is NOT a 3 watt phone. Signal Booster accessories are available though. This phone is already for sell in Canada on Telus.

we have been selling the M800 for over a year thru the Sales Action Center, it is not 3 watts, most customers get better reception and more convenience from the cyfre booster, and its better because you can plug any phone with an antenna port into it.
