I'm hearing September 6th from several places, because it will appear on some of the services on that date. Whether Alltel will actually have it on that date is unclear at this time.

I'm waiting for it, too! I sure hope it doesn't disappoint! This V3a has GOT to go...no EVDO, no memory card...makes the LG 8600 look very desirable by comparison.

How much do you think the Razr2 will be without a plan when it comes out for Alltel?

Sept. 6th is Alltel's Release Date. Im pretty sure that is a online launch only with the phones coming to local stores a couple days later.
I also expect alltel to put the V9m online ahead of time like the 8600 so you can preorder. Pricing: somewhere between sprint and verizon's prices $250-$300.

Well, the full retail price of the V3c, V3m, and V3a at Alltel was $364.99. I don't think it's going to be any less expensive than that, considering that it's been re-engineered. It pleases me that they will be restoring the memory card slot and EVDO to it.

That is the retail price not the 2 year price. If it is over $300 with a 2year then its not worth it. Especially with Sprint at $250 and Verizon at $300

That would be the retail price. On a two-year contract, I am guessing that the RAZR2 may start as low as $99.99 after a mail-in rebate. Just conjecture on my part, though.

Yes.
BUT...
The $250 for Sprint and The $300 for Verizon is with A 2 Year Contract.
I expect alltel to be a little higher than $100.
Especially when its the same version as sprint and verizon.

i can guarantee it will be at least 250 bucks. the krzr sold for 250 for almost 6 months. it will drop in price eventually, but if verizon is indeed selling at 300, then don't be surprised if alltel does the same.
