Ok so I am thinking of getting my first Smartphone. What is the best? I think I have it narrowed down to either the Blackberry 8830 or the PPC6800. Any suggestions? I haven't heard much about the Treo's. Should I consider one of those? Along with all the perks I still need a phone with great reception. I need your help!!!

Once you go smart you never go back, or something like that.
In order to answer your question correctly you'd have to tell us what you what your smart phone to do. Are you going to use it for work?
Don't say the norms such as, I want email or Internet in my hand. Those are things that all SP can do.

Give us a few more details and this forum will get you the right phone.

More usage details would be good. Both are good for reception. Do you travel internationally? Do you like touchscreens more? The 8830 doesn't have one...

Thank you for your responses! Ok I don't travel internationally. I may use it for work to organize my work schedule. Mostly I want it to organize my life. I think I would use the calendar a lot. I do everything online so it would be awesome to have it on the go. I need good reception cuz I live in an area known for bad reception and we don't have a land line. So I need something very dependable. I am new to all the features so I am sure I will use it more than I realize once I figure them all out! Thank you for the help!!!!! 😁

I saw some reviews that said the back of the 6800 was cheap feeling and they were worried about wear on it. Do you have that problem or concern? Also they said the circle button sticks, do you find that as well? How is reception?

thank you for your response, it is very helpful!! 😁
