i am sorry if i ask some dumb questions but i am new to the forum and i am not real familiar with the wireless industry. my contract has been up for over a year and a half and i am really considering my first smart phone (ppc 6800). i was wondering how it works if a person goes through letstalk.com since the phone is so cheap there? does it work out just the same as going into my local alltel store? will it affect my great relationship with my local alltel store? will it affect my wifes add on account since she is my second line but her contract isn't up for another year? i have been with alltel since 1998 and my local store has taken very good care of me but $150.00 savings is a lot! any information provided will be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance for your time and info!!!!

If you really have a good relationship with ur store then they shoudn't care they should know of the savings, i got mine for 100 as an ins clame, They should activate it for you with no problem,

What's customer service worth to you? If anything happens to your phone, don't expect an Alltel store to come to the rescue to fix it! You go back to letstalk.com and see what will happen if you have a problem with it six months from now. This comes from someone who once knew the cost of everything and the value of nothing, but I wised up. You should, too.
