Hey its one of the better phones alltel has had in a long time. I had my V710 since NOV 2005 and it has not given me one problem. But the battery life leaves something to be desired. So motorola hasn't let me down, so far. But Alltel doesnt have Samsung phones that are that sound. The u520 is okay but my V710 smashes it. The phone is great. Plus I like the basic design of the phone (chipset). Ive seen some s***y phones in my day since I work for sprint but this (V9m) looks like a winner for the next 2 years.

and don't forget some peeps have issues with some phones some don't, I loved my 6700 heard lots of issues with it but i had none, sometimes luck of the draw, And some peeps just love to hate on Moto..

i made the mistake of updating my software on my krzr k1m and celltop took over my left softkey. I wouldn't mind it if it wasn't so in your face. When you get used to the way a phone works and functions for buttons (especially while driving), it's a major inconvenience to change one of them to a slow application and not allow you to change it back.
if the razr2 has this problem, i really am not that excited to buy one.

Cell top rocks. Try checking stock quotes faster, you can't. Plus get your weather, sports, voice messages, and all sorts of other thing in one spot. Plus its customizable, so you can have just the cells you buy new cells and have all sorts of information right at the touch of a button.
And you say your not going to buy a phone becuase it comes with one the most awesome little tid bits of soft ware in the cell phone idustry. Please, could you sound more fake? Who do you work for and why do you post this stuff in these forums? Really...

First of all, celltop doesn't "rock" Alltel didn't create it to enhance your phone experience. They did it because they are last place in regards to revenue from downloads and additional airtime money that major carriers like Verizon have been capitalizing on for years.
I didn't mind that it (was) on my phone.. just that it was forced on a my left soft-key that I have been using for my recent calls since 2003 on my 720 with no ability to change it. I download zero ringtones, have no ability to retrieve voice messages in my market using it, and do not trade stock actively. I certainly don't (and would never want to) work in the wireless industry, nor do I become defensive about carriers or features.

No you get Offencive about something that you have control over, if you had looked at the phone and saw it was there then why buy the phone if it was that big of a deal? I adapt to every new phone i get take the good with the bad, when you change phones you will have to make some changes to how you do things..

he didn't buy it if you read his post which I think should be done before you make a reply. He stated it was changed in a software update to his phone.

Didn't know if you knew this or not.....but pressing the talk button shows you the recent calls list as well....
