any new phones?
is there any decend phones coming to alltel? i love the razr2 but its just too expensive is any other cool phones going to be here in the next month?

With the combination of several phones having seen "end of life" status recently, and the holidays approaching, I think it's more than likely that some new phones will appear in the Alltel line-up. I agree with you, the RAZR is just ridiculously priced...way out of line! I also think that once the novelty wears off, the price will drop a bit. Forget about something as lofty as the iPhone, though...AT&T has an exclusive until the summer of 2009 on it.

I phone is also GSM only, can't run on CDMA networks, or i may get one, A friend of mine has one, nice to play with, but a bit heavier than even my 6800 if you ask me.

no 3g only 8 gigs of mem and very very crappy phone reception!! but other then that great! just get a 160 gig ipod much more worth it and stick to a regular phone desinged first to be a phone!

that is like saying for me to get a laptop and ditch my ppc-6800, it makes no sense, i love my phone which does everything i need, same thing peeps feel with the iphone, it does alot for a little if you really think about it..

no its not not even close to that. Your comparing a large item to a small handheld item. The Iphone is a phone right? Ok and it sucks as one. Next, its an ipod and a good one but only holds 8 gigs to 160 for regular ipods. next, its wifi great but only edge cabable when no wifi. See were I am going. Also if the phone breaks which something you use everyday who knows how many times your chances of dropping it greatly increase then your out both ipod and phone. See were I am going with this?
I can't tell you how many times I have droped a phone. And I would cringe if I droped my ipod. You busy phone rings in your rush to answer it and doing other things you drop it. When I listen to my ipod I am relaxed not working and so on.

I'm able to upgrade in November and have only used Nokia's for the past 15 years with Alltel but noticed there aren't any in the lineup and found out that Nokia doesn't do the frequency anymore. But anyway, I'm leaning toward the LG Wave. Any thoughts, pros, or cons on that model from anyone?
