Attention Alltel employees...

👀 So I think I may have a job with your company. Generally speaking, how do you feel about working for them and what is your employee plan like?

I used to work for a Sprint call center and hated that company more than anything.

Please?

Anyone?

I've never worked in a call center, but as far as I can see (which isn't really that far) Cell phones are cell phones, custys are custys, and working for the man is working for the man no matter what name he has.

Yeah, the grass ain't greener. 🙂

I came on to the company after managing multiple stores for an indirect for Alltel, and I can tell you that the grass is actually greener for a change.

I would certianly consider Alltel was recently bought by a company that deals primarily with short term investments in these matters. Knowing what I know now, at this point I would not consider Alltel a long-term career since chances are good that we will sell in the next 2 years (either as a whole company, or worse, broken up and "parted out"). However, I certianly dont regret my stay and have enjoyed the people I work with and $70k a year /w benefits in rural SE US isn't bad.

Are you a rep or manager? I also may have a job with alltel here soon so i'm trying to get some input also. Do you get yelled at as much as Sprint reps do? cause it sucks. lol. Overall, are you satisfied with your job and the way the company is run? Is Alltel more team oriented than Sprint?
