When you file an insurance claim, do you have to get the same phone that you have as a replacement?
I have the samsung u520 and i'm really not a big fan of it. Ive had it for about 3 or 4 months now, and I want to know if i can just "lose" it and pay the deductible to get something different? If so, what would be my replacement options?

You can lose it if you want to, but you will get the same phone on a replacement. You can't lose a Ford and get it replaced with a BMW. If you want another phone, you're going to have to pay full retail for it at the Verizon store if you are still under contract and ineligible to upgrade at the promotional price.
