Can someone please post specific info about my circle plans compared to vzw plans?
How much do alltel customers get at the 39.99, 59.99, and 99.99 price points?

At 39.99 you get 1 my circle number, at 49.99 you get 5 my circle numbers, at 59.99 you get 10 my circle minutes, and at 99.99 you the the most with 20 my circle minutes. I am on the 49.99 plan with the 5 numbers and 750 anytime minutes.
Verizon is very stingy with 39.99 giving you 450 minutes, 59.99 giving you 900 minutes , and higher and higher after that. I'm just hoping Verizon doesn't make me change my plan before my two years is up, but we;ll see. Anyway, i hope this helped.

1. Its Verizon Stupid!
2. You now get to call 80 million of your friends instead of a platry 13 million....
3. Its Verizon stupid!
(Here drink this)
...
wow, and I thought people said Verizon makes you drink the kool-aid...what did Alltel put in your drink?! Everybody thinks Verizon has crappy prices but AT&T has pretty much the same thing...matter of fact, I made a list of things I wanted on AT&T (if I were to ever switch) and it came out MORE expensive than Verizon. Alltel was just cheaper than other carriers, thats why they don't have money. Verizon is going to have to pay some of their debt as part of the aquisition. But you get what you pay for, its good to pay more for more IN Calling and a reliable network. I had Alltel before and I was constantly thinking, why am I paying anything for this!
...
Because unlike VZ alltel gives you unlimited data.
...
I have unlimited data on my plan with Verizon, and unlimited TXT, GPS, Mobile Web, Vcast, Vcast Music...the only thing I don't have is unlimited minutes (only because I don't wanna pay $99/month for something I won't use that much) I could've had unlimited data on Alltel but it was an added feature and didn't want it. I wasn't waisting data on Alltel's dried up data features so I didn't think I needed it, there was nothing to use data on hardly, except Celltop.
...
Unlimited data on vzw is capped at 5gb. It's not really unlimited.
...
that was my point they are caped at 5gb where Alltel has no such max..
Will
...
unlimited data still exists
trust me, you just need to talk to the right person.

They had almost NO DEBT. The private equity company that bought them a few months ago went into debt to buy Alltel. That is THE only reason they didn't "have money". The customers are more profitable every other carrier. ARPU.
The credit market got tight so the private equity had to leave it on the books and that is why they sold. They didn't buy the company thinking they were going to sell this soon. This was a last ditch...

Wait. Alltel was sold to an investment firm last year and sold for 26 billion. They had only 2.7 billion in debt. Alltel's shareholders made a killing. In fact it was the first time a wireless carrier was sold that big of a profit. While a private investment firm made the purchase their intentions were to sell it again. They had 9 billion in revenue last year. The investment firm had 22 billion in debt from their initial purchase from the shareholders. If the sell goes through for 28.1 billion, Citi Group's investors stand to make 5.9 billion after only one year. Hmm.....they did ok for only a one year investment.
Whats funny is listening to the VZW fans who think that they really matter to the big red. VZW is over 30 billion in debt. The...

Ha, yeah. I already have unlimited m2m, and almost everyone of my friends has alltel because they cover the area better then vzw already does and att and sprint and t-mobile. The only result for me and everyone else will be paying more, for less personal service. My circle will be gone. 80 million m2m is POINTLESS. That argument is the worse I have ever heard. People use my circle for landlines primarily. EVERY company has m2m.

MUCH better than Verizon's plans, although admittedly, Verizon has better pricing for dat...

So alltel doesn't have family plans??? 😳
...
They don't have a dedicated category for family plans, no, but if you look at my first post you'll see you can add a line and share minutes to ANY individual plan, essentially making it a family plan.
...
They do have Family Plans, I'm on one
79.99 1000 shared min. either 1000 texts or nights start at 7, you get to pick.
...
$109.99 2000 min unlimited nights 1000 texts or nights starting at 7 20 My Circle numbers

SCKiosk- Like working for the shack? What market are you in?
I do have to correct you on the data..... Alltel has VZW beat in the data dept. Were not capped. Plus Smartphone pricing is built into the plan.
...
Michigan market, Muskegon 01-7621 here. 😁
Yeah, that is true that Alltel's mobile broadband and PAM plans aren't capped, and about the Smart Choice plans. I was more talking about variety of data features, and speed. Although I do love my Celltop, which nobody else dares to have anything like.
...
I did that gig for when I first got into wireless some years back.
You really think VZW is faster?
